Ingredients for Dal Makhani Recipe (Indian Sabji Recipes)
Black gram: 1 cup
Bengal gram: 1/2 cup
Kidney beans: 1/4 cup
Onions: 2, finely chopped
Tomatoes: 3, finely chopped
Ginger-garlic paste: 1 1/2 tsp
Garlic: 4-5 pieces
Green chilli: 2-3, thinly sliced
Red chilli powder: 2 tsp
Butter: 4 tbsp
Cream: 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
Asafoetida: 1 pinch
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
Method of preparing Dal Makhani
- Wash the black gram, bengal gram and kidney beans thoroughly. And soak in 2 glasses of water for 8 hours.
- Drain the excess water and pUt these in a pressure cooker and add 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste to it. Cook for about 10 minutes (3-4 whistles).
- Then lower the heat to medium level and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Then heat 2 tbsp of butter in a pan. And fry cumin seeds and asafoetida in it. Add the sliced green chilli and heat till it turns slightly brown.
- Add the remaining ginger-garlic paste and onions. And fry, till it turns golden brown.
- Then add the red chilli powder, chopped tomatoes and salt. And cook till the mixture becomes thick (for about 3 mins).
- Now add the cooked grams and kidney beans to this mixture. And heat for about 5 minutes. If it looks too thick, you can add a little water.
- Now add the remaining butter and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Decorate it with cream and finely chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

Ingredients for Green Chicken Recipe (Indian Chicken Recipes)
Chicken: 1 kg
Onion: 2 large
Ginger paste: 1 tbsp
Garlic paste: 1 tbsp
Cloves: 4
Cinnamon: 1 inch stick
Cardamom: 3-4
Dried red chillies: 2
Tomato: 1 large
Spinach: 10 oz, chopped
Oil for frying
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method of preparing Green Chicken
- Wash the chicken & cut into pieces.
- Marinate in onion, salt, ginger & garlic paste. Set aside for sometime.
- Heat some oil & add the chillies, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. When it is fried, add the chicken mixture & fry, till it is half done.
- Take another vessel and cook spinach with 2 tbsp water in a microwave for 8-10 minutes. Then puree the spinach in a blender.
- Now add tomatoes to the chicken and fry for another 4-5 minutes.
- Then add the spinach & let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, till the chicken is done.
- When it is cooked, the oil will begin to seperate.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or naan.

Everybody likes binging those fries, but it may be a bit difficult to cut your potatoes into lean sticks and fry them all the time, especially when you are short of time. Here is a simple way to prepare french fries by freezing them and using whenever you feel like.
Ingredients for Frozen French Fries Recipe (Indian Snacks Recipes)
Potatoes: 5 large, oval shaped
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Method of preparing Frozen French Fries
- Peel the potatoes and soak them in water.
- Cut them into 1 centimeter thick slices and further cut them into finger sized pieces.
- Take a pain and pour sufficient water for boiling. Then put the potato pieces in the water and add salt. Boil till it is half done.
- Drain the potato sticks and cool them. Then put the pieces into a zip-lock bag and seal tightly after removing excess air.
- Store them in a deep freezer. Wheneever you need them, remove from freezer and deep fry directly in medium hot oil till they turn crispy and golden. Add salt only after removing from hot oil.
- Serve hot.

Ingredients for Mughlai Paneer Recipe (Indian Sabji Recipes)
Paneer: 250 gms
Khus khus: 1 tsp
Watermelon seeds: 1 tsp
Curd: 1 cup, beaten
Onion: 1, grated
Garam masala: 1/2 tsp
Red chill powder: 1/2 tsp
Cream: 1 cup
Salt to taste
Corainder leaves for garnishing
Oil or ghee: 1 1/2 tbsp
Method of preparing Mughlai Paneer
- Soak khus-khus and watermelon seeds in water and grind to get a fine paste.
- Then heat the oil or ghee and add the grated onion. Cook till the onion turns transparent.
- Then add the khus khus paste and cook for 2 mins. Now add the curd. Cook for 5-8 minutes, till it turns golden brown.
- Now add the garam masala and cream. And cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add paneer with 1 cup water and cook till the paneer softens. Let the gravy thicken.
- Add corainder leaves and elaichi powder and serve hot.

Ingredients for Vegetable Tikka Masala Recipe (Indian Sabji Recipes)
Fresh Vegetables like peas, mushrooms, carrots, cauliflower and potato: 2 cups
Plain Yoghurt: 250 ml
Onions: 2, chopped
Lemon juce: half a lemon
Ginger: 1 inch piece, chopped
Garlic cloves: 3, chopped
Turmeric Powder: 1 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon powder: 1 tsp
Coriander powder: 2 tsp
Red chilli powder: 1 tsp
Ghee or butter: 2 tbsp
Cardomom: 10 pods
Salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparing Vegetable Tikka Masala
- Take a bowl and mix the yoghurt, chopped ginger, garlic and onions. Then blend them until smooth.
- Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper and mix. Then add all the spices (except cardomom). And blend.
- Add a few coriander leaves and blend a little.
- Then take a cooker and put some butter or ghee in it. Melt the butter or ghee and add the blended ingredients.
- Then add the cardomom pods.
- Now add the vegetables and mix. Cook on low heat until the vegetables are properly cooked.
- Add coriander leaves. And cook for some more time.
- Serve hot with naan or rice.

Ingredients for Gobi Manchurian Recipe (Indian Sabji Recipes)
Cauliflower: 1
Spring onion: 1 small bunch, chopped
Garlic: 1 tsp, chopped finely
Ginger: 2 tsp, chopped finely
Red chilli powder: 1/4 tsp
Dried red chillies: 2, crushed
Plain flour: 1/4 cup
Cornflour: 3 tbsp
Oil: 3 tbsp
Water: 1 ½ cups
Method of preparing Gobi Manchurian
- Boil the cauliflower florettes for 5 minutes in plenty of water. Drain them and pat dry on a clean cloth.
- Now make a thin batter of flour and 2 tbsp cornflour. Add 1/4 tsp each of ginger, garlic and red chilli powder. Also add some salt to taste.
- Dip the boiled cauliflower florettes in the batter and deep fry in hot oil. Then keep aside.
- Now take the remaining oil and add the rest of ginger, garlic and crushed red chilli. And fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the spring onions and salt. And stir fry for a minute.
- Then add 1 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil.
- Now take the remaining cornflour (1 tbsp) and dissolve it in 1/4 cup water.
- Add this to the gravy and stir continuously till it boils. Boil it, till it becomes transparent.
- Then add the cauliflower florettes and soya sauce. And boil for 2-3 more minutes.
- Serve hot with roti or rice.

Ingredients for Tomato Soup Recipe (Indian Soups Recipes)
Tomato juice: 4 cups
Cornflour mixed in a little cold water: 2 teaspoons
Roasted cumin seed powder: 1 teaspoons
Ginger-garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
Milk: 1 tablespoon
Salt and pepper to taste
Coriander for garnishing
Method of preparing Tomato Soup
- Put all the ingredients in a vessel, except milk and bring to a boil on medium heat.
- Then let it simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
- Now add the milk and let it simmer on low heat again for 3 minutes.
- Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

Carrots: 2 big, chopped
Green peas: 1 cup, shelled
Onion: 1 big, chopped finely
Green chillies: 1, crushed
Chopped mint leaves

- Boil the peas and carrots with water on medium heat for 5 minutes. Boil them till they are cooked but are still firm. Then cool them.
- Add the chopped onions, mint leaves, green chillies, salt, pepper and lemon juice, and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve chilled.

Ingredients for Potato and Kidney Beans Salad Recipe (Indian Salad Recipes)
Kidney beans: 2 cups, boiled
Potatoes: 4, boiled, peeled, cubed
Onions: 2, finely chopped
Green chillies: 1
Oil: 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Pepper and lemon juice to taste
Coriander for garnishing
Method of preparing Potato and Kidney Beans Salad
- Heat oil on medium heat in a pan, and add the onions and green chillies to the oil. Fry for 2 minutes on medium or high heat till the onions turn transparent.
- Add the boiled potatoes cubes to the oil. Then add the kidney beans, pepper, salt and lemon juice.
- Keep it on low heat for 3-5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve at room temperature.

Ingredients for Pineapple and Mango salad recipe (Indian Salad Recipes)
Fruits (pineapple, apple, mango and grapes-green or black): 4 cups, chopped
Grated coconut: 4 tbsp
Dry red chillies: 2
Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
Sugar: 1 tablespoon (according to taste)
Salt to taste
Method of preparing Pineapple and Mango salad
- Take a bowl and mix the sugar into the chopped fruits. Set aside.
- Grind the coconut with red chillies by adding a little water. When it is almost done, add the mustard seeds to it and grind for some more time, till the mustard seeds are properly crushed.
- Now mix the coconut paste with the fruits. Add some salt and mix well.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
